Happy new year to you all. Thanks to everybody that took time out of their busy schedules to read, write, comment, share and or ReTweet from this blog in the outgone year.
You are welcome on board as we continue on the journey towards rich fulfilment and perfection this year. 2014 will be a year of betterment and improvement in all spheres of our lives in Jesus name.
This new year, I want to implore us to put our faith to active use. Let our faith profession line up with our actions this year. How do people see the faith you profess if it is passive? “Show me your faith without works and I will show you my faith by my works” said the book of James.
Friends, I am not talking about your numerous “new year resolutions” that will be forgotten even before the ink with which it was scribbled dries off. I am interested in you getting up making it a duty to live by your faith this year. Quit resting on your oars and get down to WORK.
Words works wonders when it is put to work.
Don’t be like the guy that hid his one talent because he saw his master as an austere man who will reap where he didn’t sow. Forgetting that he had already sown the talent into his life and he is expected to work with the talent to make more. Mind you, a talent is equivalent to a man wages for a complete year. Therefore look beyond the oneness of the talent.
The one who hid his one talent had a wrong attitude towards work.
Friends put your faith, talents, gifts and everything at your disposal to work. This year is going to be unfavourable to the lazy and the indolent. My father worked hitherto and I now work.
Do the work that will bring your dreams and visions from the ethereal word to tangible world. As long as you remain lethargic and indolent, your visions, dreams and giftings will become a mirage, and it will likely remain so unless you roll up your sleeves and work.
It is time to work if you want a year full of fulfilment.
