7 LAWS OF BREAKTHROUGH (7)
If it has a beginning, then it surely will have an end. I am therefore glad to discuss with you the last of these laws believing that you have proven the previous laws and found them useful. Law number 7 is what I like to call GOD’S FACTOR. It’s true that God made man a free moral agent (we make our choices) but God didn’t make us independent of Himself. To be independent of somebody is to be able to do without that person. No, we are not independent of God, His word tells us “…for without me, you can do nothing”- John 15:5.
We can do a whole lot of other things, which of course are enumerated in the previous laws but in the final analysis, there is a place for the very God of breakthrough. He it is who has the final say as the scripture declares “So then, it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy”- Romans 9:16. KJV
The form you are filling for breakthrough has two signatories; one of course is you (and I’m sure you have signed already) but the other is God. He won’t sign in your place, neither can you sign in His place and yet both must be signed for the form to be processed. This is where the journey ends for a host of people because they don’t know or know little of this person (God).
Sincerely, they have done all that needs to be done except this one thing and so they get frustrated. Some quit at this junction and never return and yet others turn to some diabolic means. The final answer is always the same- vanity! You can’t get someone else to do what only God can do.
On the other side, God is more than willing to help, nothing gives Him more joy than to sign your form but surprisingly very few ever bring the form to Him. He wonders why; Why we like motion yet hate movement. He wonders why we want to do it alone when He is readily available, why we just like to go down a blocked road. When He got tired of waiting, he decided to come and meet us in the person of JESUS. That’s the best God can do for us, anyone who therefore rejects this offer of God is saying in essence “I’m okay the way I am, I like my state of lack and poverty, I don’t want to breakthrough”. I’m sure that’s not what you want for yourself, why not commit yourself to know this God through his only begotten son- Jesus. HE alone is the way, the truth and the life; no one gets to the father except through him. Remember the scripture says “…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits”- Daniel 11:32b
See you at the top.
