It’s not over yet @FeyiAdesanya

Like Samson of old, many who used to be champions have suddenly discovered that was in the past (ex-champions). The present reality of things is far off championship.

Yesterday, they were at the very top of the mountain of life but today they find themselves at the very valley. It’s not what anyone prays for, but yes it does happen many a times as a result of one’s errors. For such a person, the thought of a better yesterday is enough frustration.

Here was Samson, found in the dungeon of the enemy, blind, weak and bound with fetters recounting the days when by the jaw bone of an ass he single-handedly killed a thousand men; days when he cut a lion open with his bare hands; days when he uprooted the gates of a city only to drop them off on a mountain. Those days seemed to be gone and gone for good; the champion is now but a circus master- an ex-champion.

But somewhere down the story, the scripture says “Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven”- Judges 16:22. His hair which was the very source of his strength began to grow. In other words Samson reconnected back to his source- God. And not only that, it goes on to say “And Samson called unto the Lord and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the philistines for my two eyes.”- Judges 16:28. Another way to put that is that Samson prayed for a restoration and yes God granted his request so much so that the victory of that singular day was far more than the victory of all the days before put together and so Samson died a current champion!

If there is but one thing to learn from this, it’s that better days are ahead. It doesn’t matter how down you may be, where there is a valley, there is always a mountain. You might have lost all but if you are still alive; there is still hope for you- Ecclesiastes 9:4. Tomorrow can be a better day if you follow in the steps of Samson. You too can experience the change you so much desire; you too can regain your lost glory. It’s not over yet!

Like Samson reconnect back to God who is the SOURCE and you will be surprise what can still be achieve if you reconnect to HIM. It doesn’t matter how far too gone or bad your situation, He is waiting with an open arm for you.
