Don’t Worry

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Philipians 4: 6-7
New Living Translation

This past week on my way back from work. I boarded bus with a man of around seventy years. He sat next to me and I cannot but notice his behaviour all through the short ride.

He was tenaciously gripping the seat in front of him. His nerves were frail and everything the driver do evoke strong protest from him whether positive or negative. In fact, the mistakes of other road users were blamed on the driver.

Some of us go through life like that. We worry about anything and everything.

That is not the best way to go through life. Trust God and leave it there. Every twist and turn of the way, Trust God to keep you and all that is yours.

Anxiety and worry will never do you good. Rather it will damage you both internally and externally.

Why worry brethren and sisthrene when you can pray? Take it to the Lord in prayer and leave it there. Jesus said “by worry, you cannot add a cubit to your year”. I dare say, worry cannot add anything positive to your life. The only addition worry can add to you is sickness, diseases and frail nerves.

Quit worry friends as we journey through life. Enjoy the life God gave you. Take time out to appreciate the things you have and you will see life in a different perspective.

Shallom.

  1. This Message is Specially for me!
For I worry just too much about
    every little thing, whether significant
    or not.
But how can I stop worrying? I do
pray, and I’ve leave everything in God’s
Capable Hands, but still, I just couldn’t help
    but worry…*sighs*
