Not All About The Gain
When you hear words like ‘No free lunch in Freetown’ and may be ‘Nothing goes for nothing’, you can be very sure of what that suggests. Especially in this part of the world. We are made to believe that nothing must be done without receiving something in return. It is this mental quirk that stands to be the main bane of development and a poor attitude towards rendering help in our world. The first thing an African man would ask is:’How much will you pay me?’ even while he is yet to know the full task you are about offering him. Such is the attitude obtainable here! Always wanting to make a living out of every little thing done without any sense of impact.
